Rebecca Bates

Founder & Master Electrician

Rebecca “Becki” Bates founded Wirenuts Electrical in 2022. She worked as an electrical apprentice and journeyman before becoming a licensed Master Electrician. Becki brings a curiosity and desire to learn to her work, always wanting to connect (both metaphorically and electrically). Prior to her work as an electrician, she was the Facilities manager and Work Program Director at Spring Lake Ranch. Becki’s other interests include skiing, talking about skiing, lamenting the six months of bad skiing, and being excited that ski season is starting again.

Brett Depolo

Master Electrician

Brett arrived in Vermont from his home base on Cape Cod, where he trained as an electrician and oyster farmer. Besides being friendly, intelligent, and funny, he is a Master Electrician who does careful, thorough work, including wiring the tidiest boxes you’ve ever seen. He is an avid hiker and skier and is currently renovating his future home in the city of Rutland.

Ober Lopez

Electrical Apprentice

Ober, of Two Jacks Farm in the village of Cuttingsville, is a registered Electrical Apprentice with the State of Vermont. He works hard at his studies, and on the job shows exceptional awareness, willingness and intelligence. When not busy studying, working, doing leatherwork, or making improvements on the house and farm, he likes to snowboard and to take his dog for long walks around Shrewsbury.

Lisa Gardner

Office Manager & Electrical Assistant

Lisa takes care of details around the office and fills in wherever needed. She comes to us after a long tenure as Garden Manager and Advisor at Spring Lake Ranch, followed by a thru hike on the Appalachian Trail. She brings  insight, warmth and humor to every interaction. In addition to her work for Wirenuts, she runs recreational programming at Spring Lake Ranch and is a hiking guide. In her spare time, she loves to sing, ski, hike, and bake sourdough bread.
